The new Micra-10 from Coherent, Inc. is the first one-box ultrafast laser oscillator to deliver over 750 mW of broadband output power.
As with other members of the Micra product family, this wide spectral bandwidth (more than 75 nm from the Micra-10) can be externally compressed to produce pulses in the 10 fs to 15 fs range. In addition, Micra-10 offers the flexibility of center wavelength tunability, as well as user-adjustable spectral bandwidth.
Micra-10 is a one-box laser in which the Verdiâ„¢ green pump laser and the broadband Ti:S ultrafast oscillator are integrated within a single, compact housing for both ease of operation and unsurpassed power and spectral stability.
With its broadband output and high power, the Micra-10 is well-suited to demanding research applications such as high harmonic generation, THz imaging, optical coherence tomography, and time-resolved spectroscopy. Compared to alternative products, the superior reliability and turnkey operation of the Micra combine to simplify the use of ultrafast lasers in these technically demanding applications.
The Micra family is compatible with a full suite of enabling accessories and options, including RF synchronization, carrier-envelope phase stabilization, pulse shaping and pulse compression.
