Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion proof mini LED light fixture operating on 120V-277V AC that is stepped down to 12V DC or 24V DC through an inline transformer. This unit produces 1,320 lumens of light output while drawing on only 25 watts.
The EXHL-PM-LE1-XLV-25 explosion proof mini LED light is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB+H2 and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This light operates on 120V to 277V AC and is encapsulated to protect against bad weather. This unit features 25 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord between the light and transformer.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof LED light is available in either a spot or flood light configuration with the spot configuration providing a 10˚ beam measuring 800 feet long and 140 feet wide, and a flood configuration providing a 40˚ beam measuring 300 feet long and 225 feet wide. This light is rated NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B, C, D) and 9 (E, F, G) and can operate in temperatures of -40 ˚C to 60 ˚C.
This unit is waterproof up to three meters and has a 9” round LED light head mounted inside a portable base stand made of non-sparking aluminum with a built-in carrying handle on top. The light can be adjusted up or down 90˚ and is suitable for use in hazardous industrial and commercial settings.
