Conterra Broadband Services, a leading provider of private fiber optic broadband networks, is pleased to announce the lighting of a new all-fiber optic network to support the data, video and voice requirements of the El Paso Independent School District's ("EPISD") 104 locations.
The multi-gigabit fiber optical network connects all of the district's schools and administrative facilities to the El Paso ISD Data Center. The district serves approximately 60,000 students and 9,500 staff members.
The fiber optical network will be scalable to 100 gigabits per location with no supplementary construction. Conterra monitors, manages and supports its networks on a 24x7x365 basis and guarantees network performance and reliability.
