OPPLE Lighting Showcased on Times Square Screens to Celebrate China’s 66th National Holiday

In celebration of China’s 66th National Holiday, 66 well-known Chinese brands were showcased on the screens in Times Square, New York, under the theme “66 Chinese Brands Going Global” to exhibit the strength and global influence of Chinese enterprises. Among them were OPPLE Lighting, the only representative of the lighting industry, and GREE, Huawei, Haier and MengNiu.

The 66 brands including OPPLE Lighting appeared on the Times Square screens on October 1, following Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to US. It is not only a milestone for OPPLE Lighting, but also of epoch-making significance for the entire lighting industry of China.

Founded in 1996, OPPLE Lighting is now an integrated lighting company specializing in the development, production and sales of home lighting, electrical appliances, kitchen and bathroom ceilings and commercial lighting. In 2004 OPPLE Lighting launched its international strategy and opened its first overseas office in Dubai and in 2009 it relocated its headquarters to Shanghai. In 2012, OPPLE Lighting established its largest Asian industrial park in Wujiang and set up R&D centers in Shanghai and Wujiang. In 2015, OPPLE Lighting was named one of China’s Light Industry Design Centers by China National Light Industry Council. With the grand vision of “building a globalized lighting company,” OPPLE Lighting, leveraging its leading R&D team, strong marketing staff and sound marketing network at home and abroad, has extended its reach to 50 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Middle East and South Africa. Recently OPPLE Lighting won the “Outstanding Asia Brand Award” at the Asia Brand Ceremony, known as Oscar of Asia Brands.
