"Receiving this prominent distinction is extremely exciting and we couldn't be more proud to have been recognized by Government Video," said Joe Gillio, Senior Director Strategic Planning and Marketing, of Casio's Business Projector Division. "We are thoroughly committed to providing our customers, including government agencies, with innovative solutions that take into account their individual and unique needs and our new EcoLite projector is a prime example of that."

The award program recognizes outstanding products exhibited at InfoComm that are new since last year's show. For this award process, panels of professional users and editors, chosen in advance, review all product nominations and select the winners during the show.

"Audiovisual gear gets better every year, so it takes something special to qualify for Government Video's Best of Show award at InfoComm 2015," said Bob Kovacs, Editor, Government Video magazine. "We looked at all the nominees carefully and were especially impressed with the performance, value and usability demonstrated by all the winners. These are products ready to make their marks in presentations, conference rooms and classrooms."

The XJ-V1 was made in Japan and designed to be a reliable and low total cost of operation solution in demanding environments such as education, business and government applications. This TAA compliant projector is powered by Casio's LASER & LED Hybrid Light Source and DLP® Projection Technology and consumes half the power per unit than traditional lamp-based projectors and eliminates the need to replace expensive and hazardous mercury lamps, making it more cost effective and safer for the environment. The LampFree® light source combines a laser, fluorescent element and LEDs to generate high brightness and an industry leading 20,000 hour estimated lifespan with minimal brightness degradation and continuous operation. Power consumption with the brightest setting is only 180 watts and eco modes can reduce power consumption up to 50 percent. In addition to the long life and LampFree® Light Source, the EcoLite cabinet has a unique dust resistant structure with three separate cooling blocks. By isolating and tightly shielding the primary light source, dust intrusion is reduced, thus ensuring worry-free performance in any environment.

The XJ-V1 utilizes a close range 1.1x manual zoom lens and provides educators and business professionals with the ability to enjoy Casio's LampFree® benefits in a budget-friendly package. It features a throw ratio of 1.54-1.7:1, produces 2700 lumens of brightness, and boasts XGA (1024 x 768) resolution that is suitable for displaying content from video and computer sources. The XJ-V1 also features inputs for RGB and HDMI and includes a variable audio output for external audio.

The XJ-V1 comes with a standard three (3) year parts and labor warranty plus a five (5) year or 10,000 hour warranty on the Hybrid Laser & LED light source. It is currently available through Casio's National Pro AV dealer network and authorized distributors.
