Acal BFi Introduces Bristol Instruments' Innovative Laser Spectrum Analyser to the European Market

Acal BFi, the European leader in advanced technology solutions, are pleased to introduce to the European market the new, high resolution, 771 series laser spectrum analyser from Bristol Instruments, a leader in optical interferometer-based instrumentation.

Improving upon the performance of the popular 721 series, the cutting-edge 771 series provides the most accurate wavelength and spectral characterisation of lasers that operate from 375 nm to 12 µm.

This innovative laser spectrum analyser measures absolute laser wavelength to an accuracy as high as ± 0.0001 nm and laser bandwidth, longitudinal mode structure, and frequency stability to a resolution as high as 2 GHz. Using advanced technology, the 771 series provides improved wavelength coverage from 375 nm to 12 µm, shorter measurement times, greater sensitivity, and an enhanced user interface. This unique instrument is available in several variance covering VIS/NIR (375 - 1100 nm or 520-1700 nm), IR (1-5 µm) and MIR (2-12 µm) and integrates a built in wavelength reference.

Jean-Claude Sanudo, Photonics Business Development Director at Acal BFi, said: "We are delighted to launch Bristol Instruments' 771 series laser spectrum analyser to the European market. The addition of the 771 series enhances our innovative portfolio of photonics products and demonstrates our commitment to provide our customers with the latest, high quality and reliable tools for the most demanding of applications."
