Access Fixtures, a leading U.S.-based manufacturer of commercial and sports lighting, is launching another industry-changing LED wall pack that is priced lower than an equivalent pulse-start metal halide wall pack.
Using 81% less energy, the new 25w LED full cutoff wall pack produces equivalent mean luminaire lumens as the 100w pulse-start metal halide full cutoff wall pack.
"LED technology has advanced to the point where now several LED luminaires are priced lower than their metal halide equivalents, and use only a small fraction of the energy saving money," said Access Fixtures CEO, Steven Rothschild. "This wall pack is helping to accelerate the adoption of LED lighting as LED grows and becomes the dominant lighting technology."
The Access Fixtures 25w LED full cutoff wall pack features arrays with Samsung LED chips, each with a CRI of 80. For enhanced durability, it is built with a die-cast aluminum housing and hinged full cutoff front frame with a textured, architectural bronze powdercoat finish over a chromate conversion coating. The full cutoff wall pack directs light in a downward direction, limiting light trespass and light pollution.
Compared to the equivalent metal halide wall pack, the LED wall pack has a similar mean luminaire lumen output, uses 81% less energy, and lasts approximately 5x longer. It is rated LM70 at 50,000 hours—approximately 15 years—nearly eliminating maintenance costs. Based on a 12-hour daily pattern of use at $0.25 per kWh, each LED wall pack will save property owners about $1,212 in operating costs over ten years.
Access Fixtures LED wall packs are Assembled in USA using domestic and imported components.
