New Transfer Project for polyoptics

polyoptics GmbH the German based company, a developer and manufacturer of polymer optics received a transfer project with a production volume in the mid six-figure range.

The company is demonstrating once again that it has the knowledge and capability for large scale production realised to competitive market prices.

The crucial factor for receiving the transfer project was that polyoptics GmbH could offer the required technical specification at a much better price-performance ratio. This is based on an "innovative automated serial production which ensures consistently high quality for all optical components," according to Lars Nakotte, Project Manager at polyoptics GmbH.

"We are very pleased that we have again received the confidence of a leading company to continue a project," said Mateo Klemmayer, Managing Director of polyoptics GmbH. He identifies the strength and quality of the company to realise such projects. "Because we produce in Germany, we can offer top quality at competitive prices. This transfer project shows us that we are on the right track and do not have to hide from competition in other countries - even when high volume production is required," Mr Klemmayer continued.

The transfer project involves an optical system for a LED application, which is used in the medical environment. The fact that the German based company is also certified ISO 13485 also played a role in the decision to transfer the project to polyoptics GmbH.
