The ProScope Micro Mobile uses precision optical glass for edge-to-edge imaging and magnification from 20X to 80X. Twelve white LEDs –arrayed in two alternating circles to allow for polarized and reflective lighting can adjust intensity with a 3-way power save switch. An onboard lithium ion battery capable of five hours of continuous use provides power for the LEDs and a USB charging cable comes with the kit. Slides can be viewed by use of any backlit source like a photographer’s light pad. Bodelin designers created special sleeves for the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, new iPod touch (4th and 5th gen) iPad mini and full sized iPad, a unique 3-point tabletop stand, finite focus lens cone and impact-resistant ABS and Nylon for years of field use. ProScope Micro Mobile is made entirely in the state of Oregon. No additional parts were sourced outside the US.
ProScopes have long been a staple on television, including the CSI franchise because of its actual use in thousands of law enforcement agencies worldwide. ProScopes have also been featured on Oprah, Regis and Kelly, Antiques Road Show and many feature films. ProScopes are also the most widely used digital microscopes in science education, medical and manufacturing quality control throughout the world.
The introduction of the ProScope Micro Mobile is significant in that it allows for a professional level of microscopy for mobile device users. The new ProScope Micro Mobile is now available for pre-sales through Bodelin and its many dealers worldwide. Shipping will begin May 1st 2013. http://www.bodelin.com/proscope
