GE Lighting Debuts Two New Headlamp Lighting Solutions

GE Lighting introduced two new headlamp lighting solutions, including GE Nighthawk™ LED Sealed Beams and GE Nighthawk™ Xenon, within its Nighthawk™ automotive and trucking product family this week at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas.

"We are continuing to introduce high-performing, innovative products, including our Nighthawk LED Sealed Beams, providing high-quality light and long-term durability," said Rob Gill, North American automotive sales manager with GE Lighting. "In addition to providing high-performing lighting products that impact the bottom line of commercial trucking companies, we want to make our products a reliable option for drivers to increase visibility and reaction time on the road."

GE Nighthawk LED Sealed Beam Headlamp

GE Nighthawk LED Sealed Beam headlamps eliminate bulbs and the downtime that comes with replacing them. Instead of conventional incandescent bulbs, GE Nighthawk LED headlamps are made using the latest LED technology, so they won't burn out and are virtually maintenance-free. This means trucks will spend more time on the road and less time in the service bay, resulting in productivity that is essential for on-time deliveries.

The headlamps are housed in die-cast aluminum, engineered to withstand impact and sealed to resist moisture and corrosion. They yield a bright, white light with a color temperature that is close to daylight. GE Nighthawk LED headlamps are DOT compliant and do not require adapters or special tools for installation.

GE Nighthawk Xenon Headlamps

GE Lighting's Nighthawk Xenon brings crisp, white light while putting up to 120 percent more light output (measured in an area illuminated with more than 15,000 candelas in light intensity) versus standard halogen headlight technology for increased visibility. In addition, for those looking to upgrade headlight technologies, they will appreciate the GE Nighthawk Xenon for its ease of installation, as the headlamps can be installed without a conversion kit.

These headlamps are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to meet any consumer automotive need.
