Smarter Security Provides Optical Turnstiles for Colorado-based University

Smarter Security has announced that a Colorado-based university has installed Smarter Security’s Fastlane 400 OT and Fastlane Plus 400MA security solutions at its newly constructed facility.

The optical turnstiles will provide high-end access control to administrators and students. These turnstiles are non-barrier and barrier-arm optical devices that will be installed at separate entrances for protection and security reasons.

Two lanes of Fastlane 400 OT will be installed at the main entrance of the building which permits access to amenities and student services, along with access to a fitness center. To restrict access to the administrative offices of the university on a separate floor, one lane of Fastlane Plus 400MA has been installed. The university’s security officials have chosen the Fastlane Plus for its cost-effective and durable turnstile’s metal barrier arm. This new security will assist in keeping intruders at bay.

Smarter Security’s non-barrier Fastlane 400 OT optical-only turnstile was chosen for a feeling of openness along with security at the entry to its new facility. Fastlane 400 OT has imposing pedestals that match that closely match the design of Fastlane Plus. These Fastlane optical turnstiles offer fast throughput, with accurate alarming and detection.

Smarter Security’s CEO, Jeff Brown stated that universities and colleges across the country are investing in more security-related products in order to promote safe learning environments for their staff, students, and faculty.

In addition, Smarter Security provides three other barrier-free models, two Fastlane Plus units, as and a range of speedgates featuring barrier glass that measures 6 ft in height.
