Wellness Center USA to Acquire Phototherapy Device Maker, Psoria-Shield

Wellness Center USA has signed a share exchange agreement to purchase Florida-based Psoria-Shield, an innovator and producer of UltraViolet (UV) phototherapy devices for effectively treating skin diseases.

Psoria-Light is Psoria-Shield's FDA-cleared, patent-pending flagship product. This uniquely designed deep UV LED "Targeted Phototherapy" device is ideal for treating Vitiligo, Psoriasis, Areata, Eczema, Alopecia and other UV-treatable skin diseases prevalent among 11% of the world population.

Following the development of the revolutionary 40 CE marked, FDA cleared, ISO manufactured Class II medical devices, the medical engineers at Psoria-Shield developed Psoria-Light. "Made in the USA" at Psoria-Shield's FDA-registered production facility in Tampa, FL under their ISO 13485 certified quality system, the Psoria-Light uses deep UV LEDs to deliver targeted UV phototherapy, UVA light or monochromatic UVB light. Targeted UV Phototherapy includes increased dosages of UV light focused only on the affected tissue. It is ideal for psoriasis treatment in 6-10 sittings. Based on the innovative LED technology, medical physicians provide targeted UV phototherapy to patients without painful injections or harmful light exposure. The device ensures easy operation.

Psoria-Light's patent-pending utilizes deep UV LED technology, created and deployed for photoelectron generation projects by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, DARPA, Stanford University, NASA Ames Research Center, and the European Space Agency (ESA). Psoria-Light has been designated as a Certified Space Technology by the Space Foundation.

Healthcare providers enjoy reduced cost of ownership from Psoria-Light. This novel therapeutic device is a boon to dermatologists, government healthcare system, and insurance companies, medical solution providers, distributors and resellers locally and globally.
