Dialight Launches Ultra-Efficient LED Fixture

Dialight has introduced the industry's first-of-its-kind 100+ lumens per watt (lm/W) LED lighting fixture with Class I Div 2 certification.

The new SafeSite LED High Bay generates up to 17,500 lm at 172 W for secure and highly efficient illumination in hazardous locations, supporting applications such as power generation, oil, gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, sewage and wastewater treatment sites and facilities entailing UL-844 standards.

The new Dialight SafeSite High Bay is the latest innovative lighting solution, complementing Dialight’s extensive array of ultra-high efficiency 100 lm/W products. During February 2012, the company introduced its 100 lm/W non-classified DuroSite LED High Bay.

The entire SafeSite High Bay fixtures from Dialight have a corrosion-resistant finish. They include a universal voltage range of 100-277 V AC, 50/60 Hz to 347-480 V AC 50/60 Hz, and a T5 temperature rating. These fixtures minimize total cost of ownership and can be used as a substitute for up to 400W traditional HID lighting fixtures. Designed with a compact, lightweight low-profile configuration, these fixtures include different mounting options allowing rapid and easy retrofits from existing lighting. In addition, they provide extended performance life, safety, superior light quality and minimal maintenance expenditures associated with changing bulbs in dangerous environments.

Dialight's SafeSite Series LED lighting fixtures and new 102 lm/W LED high bay fixture that ensure superior lighting quality in hazardous locations can be accessed via Dialight's global network of authorized distributors. Dialight's comprehensive series of SafeSite LED lighting solutions for hazardous locations such as technical datasheets, IES files, and LM79 reports are also being offered.
