Larson Electronics' Magnalight has declared the launch of a powerful and portable aluminum LED light tower that can be installed for use in utility, construction, and emergency service industries.
Magnalight’s WAL-QP-P10W-40X2E-25 quad-pod mounted LED work area light with its flexible wide flood configuration can generate up to 3,440 lm of intense white light, and is capable of functioning with standard 120-277 VAC electrical current. This four leg LED light tower made up of heavy gauge aluminum can be adjusted to heights between 5 and 14 ft. It is robust, yet light weight. It can be disassembled quickly by using the removable center support and folding legs, without using any tools. T-handle screws have been provided to remove lamp head from the base assembly and to unfasten the center support; the four legs can be folded together, resulting in a lightweight and compact package for easy transport. The tower’s in-built rugged-design LED light head is resistant to rough handling. Other damage-proof features on the light’s head include shatterproof LEXAN lens, elements with thick aluminum housing, and an IP68 waterproof to 3 m rating. The LED light heads include Cree LEDs for excellent performance, where each LED is coupled with brilliant optics to generate a powerful and uniform light beam.
Furthermore, the LED light towers are equipped with a heavy duty waterproof transformer that ensures combined operation with the standard 120-277 VAC for work areas. This lightweight, high-efficiency, portable heavy duty LED lights are ideal for application on job sites as flagger lights, and can also be deployed as emergency lighting and general construction lighting.
