CyberOptics has launched the QX100 AOI Tabletop System fitted with AI2 advanced image analysis software, together with in-line AOI series and superior SPI systems. This will be showcased in the IPC APEX exhibition, to be held from February 28 to March 1, 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center, California.
The tabletop inspection will be improved with QX100, by integrating the system’s flexibility with the performance of an in-line inspection system. The system employs the strobed inspection module (SIM), the unique image acquisition technology of CyberOptics.
Autonomous Image Interpretation (AI2) leverages the sleek QX100. The AI2 technology offers several advantages including semi-automatic model training, and accelerated programming. The QX100, with its single workflow setup enables simplified adaptation with low-mix, high-volume production modes, and is well-suited for high-mix environments. Based on the customer production demand, the inspection programs formulated on the QX100 is transferred directly to the CyberOptics’ in-line AOI systems (QX500, QX100i).
The SE500, also known as CyberOptics’ flagship 3-D SPI system presents a dual illumination sensor option that offers high repeatability, will be exhibited at the show.
In addition, the expo will showcase CyberOptics’ multi-award winning QX500 AOI system, fabricated to generate high-speed inspection with a unique defect coverage and low false call rate. This novel AOI System was unveiled at NEPCON China 2010 and has been widely recognized for its excellent inspection capability and technological advancements.
CyberOptics will also exhibit its recent interactive SPC software, process monitor, with statistical procedures and charts.
