Stouch Lighting has announced that the Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County, PA, will be substituting the lighting of its recreational centre with novel LED light fixtures.
Stouch Lighting will be providing, retrofitting and installing the present fittings to a high energy-efficient source of light. With the installation of the novel LED fittings, Upper Chichester will be able to save more than 70% energy.
Township Manager, Judi Lizza, states that they are expecting the novel LED lighting fittings, which are to be installed in the recreation centre, for the lights are expected to considerably minimize the maintenance costs and energy consumption in Upper Chichester. She added that she was certain that visitors and residents using the recreation centre would love the improved lighting.
Upper Chichester could arrange the required funds for this project from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program (EECBG), supported by the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Stouch Lighting will retrofit and replace the Highbay 400 W metal halide fittings with novel 143 W Highbay LED fittings.
According to Justin Stouch, Director of Operations, Supply and Service Chain, the enhancement will save Upper Chichester energy costs more than $20,000 and maintenance costs more than $7,000 on a yearly basis. He added that the Stouch Lighting was delighted to be a part of Upper Chichester’s finalisation to enhance the recreation centre with novel LED light fittings that are energy-saving and eco-friendly.
