Evluma, an LED lighting manufacturer based in Seattle, has declared new prospects for rebate from Tri-State G&T and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) for local utilities aiming to achieve energy saving goals by mounting Clearlight LED retrofits for 70 to 150W sodium dusk-till-dawn “Security Lights” of high pressure and 50 to 175 W Mercury vapor.
BPA is offering this rebate as a part of their industrial and commercial lighting efficiency program. A rebate for up to half the cost of the material is offered by the Tri-State G & T. The Tri-State G & T offer applies to their 44 co-op members in Nebraska, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and New Mexico. The rebate is aimed at helping member co-ops begin pilot studies and evaluate new products at reduced costs.
According to Evluma President and CEO, Keith Miller rebates serve as an incentive for conservation and enable co-ops to have a leading edge while researching new technologies. Seattle-based Lighting Design Lab in WA qualified Evluma’s products, the 50 W Beacon aid and the Clearlight 40W EcoSpot, that aim at enhancing saving of energy, eliminating banned mercury vapor ballasts and reducing cost of maintenance.
