Unite Private Networks (UPN), provider of fiber-based communications networks to enterprise business customers, data centers, government and schools, has signed agreements to deliver fiber optic Wide Area Network (WAN) to two Ohio schools.
The Perrysburg and Elyria City schools have entered into 10 year agreements to receive data services over fiber network. The implementation of UPN's fiber solution will enable the schools to increase the bandwidth and provide digital video and audio distribution, without incurring additional charges each month.
The agreement with the Ohio schools further expands UPN's footprint in the eastward region. At present, the company serves clients based in 19 states across the U.S.
