Larson Electronics has launched its 60 W LED spreader light featuring six CREE MC-E LEDs. Suitable for the boat market, it draws only 5 A on 12 V.
The spreader light, measuring 11” long, 2.5” high and 3.5” deep, has a 5,160 lm light output, a heat sensing management system and an integrated pulse width modulator. It has an operating life of 5.5 years.
The company continues to develop durable, watertight LED lighting for safe operation. The LEDP10W-6E 60 W LED spreader light is IP68 certified and functions on voltage ranging between 9 and 46 V. A watertight connection ensures safe usage and a wire harness is also provided to complete the installation.
Rob Bresnahan from Larson Electronics magnalight.com claimed that the 60 W LED boat light can replace standard 500 W quartz deck lights. It can also be used to spot buoy tapes and markers.
