Scallop Imaging Integrates exacqVision VMS in D7-180 Digital Surveillance Cameras

Scallop Imaging declared that its IP Digital Window D7-180 cameras now feature the ExacqVision VMS v4.6 software from Exacq Technologies to minimize both complexity and costs of surveillance cameras.

In addition to offering simple operation, the integrated system allows users to view high-resolution, remote images on tablets and smart phones.

The President of Scallop Imaging, Peter Jones stated that the integration of exacqVision and D7-180 cameras is suitable for managing monitoring operations in airports with fewer cameras. He added that the D7-180 cameras can be incorporated into current IP and analog camera networks.

The D7-180 has a small footprint and includes features such as H.264 video compression and Power over Ethernet (PoE) to deliver an undistorted view of images. Equipped with five 1.3MP sensors, the D7-180 features a situational awareness window that includes captured images.

Exacq Technologies’ VP of Engineering, Dan Rittman mentioned that the combination of exacqVision with Scallop Imaging's D7-180 camera can render a cost-effective surveillance video platform for clients.
