NEC Display Solutions of America declared that the NC3240S 4K DLP Digital Cinema Projectors in 4 and 7 kW versions are now available in the market.
The products will be showcased at CinemaCon 2011, which will be held from March 28 to 31, 2011 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Back in October 2010, NEC Display Solutions had rolled out its first pre-production model of NC3240S to the public at ShowEast.
The Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) Compliant product from NEC features a modular design that is coupled by a simple circuit layout and lined wiring for ease of maintenance. The 1.38” 4K DLP Cinema Chip embedded into the NC3240S is manufactured by Texas Instruments. The 7 kW single-lens projector offers enough brightness to meet the DCI and NATO luminance specifications for 105 ft screen sizes.
Custom DMD shielding feature of the NC3240S offers protection from dust and oil and improves image optimization. The One-Touch Operation and Memory Functions enable the product to support eight projector settings such as lamp settings, zoom, focus, and lens position.
The NC3240S features a Local Storage Server and an optional Integrated Media Block (IMB).The internal design of the IMB delivers optimum security and enables screen and content management.
