IES Progress Committee Honors Cooper Lighting Products

Cooper Lighting, manufacturer of sophisticated lighting fixtures, declared that its controls and lighting systems have been honored for technical advancement.

Cooper Lighting Progress Report

The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Progress Committee recognized the company’s lighting products for advancing the science and art of lighting. Cooper Lighting is a subsidiary of Cooper Industries.

A total of nine Cooper lighting products constitute the part of the 2010 IES Progress Report. The products that were accepted include the Cooper Controls iLumin SC-RP Switched Relay lighting control panel, the Ametrix ArrowlinearLED Luminaire, the Metalux OpticaHP High Performance Parabolic Luminaire, the Lumiere Boca 696 LED In-grade Luminaire, the Portfolio 4-inch LED Downlight, the Halo 4-inch LED Downlight, the 6-inch Halo 1200 LED Downlights, the McGraw-Edison Ventus LED Architectural Area Luminaire and the LED LightBAR Technology.

The IES Progress committee reviews the Progress Report, which includes the latest products, design tools, publications, research and applications. The committee keeps abreast of latest technology developments in the science and art lighting across the globe and makes an annual assessment of achievements for the society. The products that were accepted were displayed at the IES Annual Conference in Toronto in November 2010.
