Interspectrum Rolls Out FTIR Spectrometers for Solid and Liquid Sample Analysis

Interspectrum, manufacturer of FTIR spectroscopy devices, has introduced a new range of portable and compact Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometers.

Interspec 310 Spectrometer

The Interspec 310 series of spectrometers can be used to identify and detect hazardous materials on the field. The quality control and safety analyzers can also be used for standard lab measurements.

The spectrometers have a spectral resolution of 2 cm-1 and are sensitive in the spectral area between 400 and 7000 cm-1. The devices, weighing approximately 9 kg and measuring 21x22 cm, provides a diverse sampling flexibility and analyses liquid and solid samples in reflection, attenuated total reflection and transmission modes. The spectrometers function at 12 V, 30 W and communicate through a USB port.
