Cardinal Scale has released a new remote weight display for use in vehicles scales. The SB500 remote display includes four-way directional arrows and a red/green traffic light for traffic management of trucks dragging off and on a scale for weighments.

The SB500 from Cardinal features 5’’ high, dual-row LED lights and offers weight visibility of as maximum as 250 feet away. The company provides custom programmable software that allows the creation of customized graphics or characters for the remote display. Numerous weight displays can be daisy-chained together the simultaneous viewing of total weight and multiple axles.
The onboard intensity light sensor of the SB500 automatically changes to ambient light at brightness level of 10. It has a 140° horizontal viewing radius to provide enhanced readouts from a distance. In addition, the combination of rain hood and NEMA 4/IP65 steel housing protects the display from harsh conditions. The remote weight display offers display features, namely, auto learn mode as well as connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, wireless, fiber optic, or serial.
