iC-Haus Introduces iC212 Optical Receiver for Laser Diode Measurements

iC-Haus has launched a new optical receiver that is ideal for measuring fast laser diode pulses. The new iC212 optical receiver features a wide spectral range and functions throughout a diverse input DC frequency range.

iC212 Optical Receiver

The optical receiver’s spectral sensitivity ranges between the near ultra violet spectrum at 320 nm and the infrared spectrum at 1000 nm. The Si-PIN photo diode’s active sensor area measures 0.75 mm2 and facilitates in a gain of 1.625 V/mW at 760 nm wavelength. This enables in detecting the optical power in the sub-mW series. The optical receiver’s DC levels can be compensated at the input by using an offset trimming feature.

The features of the iC212 optical receiver make it ideal for quality control in laser module manufacturing, measuring fiber transmission networks, measuring time-of-flight, measuring optical power, and measuring the rise and fall time of laser rays.
