Epson Rolls Out PowerLite Projectors for Classroom Presentations

Epson announced that it has introduced two PowerLite projectors with a microphone input and a 16 W speaker. The projectors feature 3LCD, 3-chip technology that delivers improved detailing and colors for presentations.

The PowerLite 915W projector features a WXGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and delivers a brightness of 3200 lm whereas the PowerLite 905 projector has a XGA resolution and provides a brightness of 3000 lm. The projectors, featuring RJ-45 and HDMI connectivity, enable teachers to utilize tablets or widescreen notebooks completely.

The projectors feature the E-TORL lamp technology that facilitates in providing a lamp life of 6,000 hrs in economy mode. They have a 1.6x optical zoom that generates large images from short throw distances. They also feature a +30 degree horizontal keystone correction and  a +30 degree automatic vertical keystone correction that offers easy operation in classroom settings.

The PowerLite projectors have EasyMP Network Projection software, which enables teachers to deliver video and audio presentations remotely over the network. The projectors’ virtual remote enables teachers to utilize a virtual remote control on the computer through a web browser.
