Sensors Unlimited has launched a new large-format indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) video camera for solar and other applications.
The SU640KTS high-resolution SWIR snapshot camera is also suitable for applications including laser-beam profiling, pulsed or continuous wave (CW), multi- and hyper- spectral imaging, inspection, sorting, machine vision of moving objects, and integrated circuit microscopy.
The imager functions in the SWIR range from 0.9 to 1.7 µ at 30 fps and is available with a C-mount lens adapter. The SU640KTS complies with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Conformite Europeene (CE) standards for electrostatic discharge (ESD) resistance and for radiated and conducted emissions. In addition, it has adjustable automatic contrast enhancement, automatic gain control (AGC) as well as non-uniformity corrections (NUCs).
The uncooled 640x512-pixel array imager provides Camera Link and EIA-170 analog video output support for 12-bit digital imaging. It is useful in solar applications for wafer, silicon ingot, or silicon block inspection. In addition, the camera features a number of options such as a SWIR 50 mm f/1.4 lens with an integrated Goodrich 42 mm interface adapter, Nikon 50 mm f/1.4 lens with a built-in F-mount adapter, or a C-mount 25 mm f/1.4 lens.
