SANYO North America announced that it has launched a new portable and ultra compact XGA projector that consumes less power and generates a brightness of 400 lm.
The PLC-XU4000 projector has a resolution of 1024x768 pixels and attains a contrast ratio of 2000:1. It consumes 69% less power when compared to other traditional models.
SANYO has designed a new intelligent lamp control solution that extends bulb life and consumes less power. The lamp control solution functions by evaluating the video signal and altering the lamp brightness as per the image needs. The company has also developed a color shift correction technology that compensates for color variations in real time and ensures color precision at all levels of brightness.
Users can easily setup the PLC-XU4000 projector through a series of user instructions and a vertical keystone correction technology. The projector features a microphone input with playback over an integrated speaker. The speaker can be utilized for audio that is sourced externally. The network control is available via a PJ-Network software and through an RJ 45 LAN connection. The projector offers PC management for determining operating time, powering on and off and input switching.
The projector includes various video inputs such as a D-sub 15 pin RGB input and a D-sub 15 pin RGB Component input. It also has control inputs such as a D-sub9 connector for RS232C network and a RJ45 connector for LAN Network control.
