Carmanah Introduces Solar LED Streetlights for Roadways and Parking Areas

Carmanah Technologies has introduced a new solar LED outdoor streetlight that delivers the exact roadway performance features needed for customers in sunbelt regions such as the Caribbean and Latin America.

The EG300 LED outdoor streetlight offers high lumen performance to support solar lighting usage in the non-North American markets.

The streetlight is ideal for markets with growing roadway infrastructure and provides a cost-efficient alternative to hard-wired lighting solutions. The EG300 delivers similar light output as that of a 200 W metal halide light. It comes in two different sizes and can power a maximum of two LED lighting fixtures. The lighting fixtures have enhanced uniformity and come in standard IES distribution types.

The EG300 streetlight has a streamlined form factor, which allows swift installation and shields the system against environmental hazards. It can withstand adverse environmental conditions such as tropical heat and humidity and hurricane-level winds. The streetlight provides a reliable solution for lighting large-scale industrial, institutional, commercial and municipal roadways and parking area applications.

The EG300 streetlight features advanced lighting controls such as operating profiles and adaptive lighting capabilities that enable specifiers to alter the light output according to the needs of the application. Profiles and lighting controls make sure that the lights are activated only when needed, which enables brighter illumination and conserves energy.
