IMRA America announced that it has launched a new femtosecond fiber laser that offers more than 100 mW at a wavelength of 805 nm.
The Femtolite FX-100i fiber laser has a length of 14 cm and a width of 10 cm. The footprint of the FX-100i laser head is similar to that of the Femtolite Ultra femtosecond fiber laser series, making it ideal for system integration.
The Femtolite FX-100i fiber laser features sub-120 femtosecond pulses and is a suitable replacement for the Ti:sapphire laser. It is ideal for applications such as second harmonic imaging, multiphoton fluorescence microscopy, and Terahertz wave generation. The size and performance of the fiber laser pave the way for the utilization of femtosecond lasers in scientific and industrial units.
The device can be operated remotely through an RS232 interface or directly from the front panel. The fiber-based design of the laser unit assures that no optical tweaking, alignment, or alteration is required. The device also complies with the CE marking.
