Jenoptik has launched a series of green continuous-wave disk lasers that will be sold by RPMC Lasers in North America. The D2 disk laser series provides high stability with modulation capabilities ranging from 20 kHz to 50 kHz and output powers between 2 W and 8 W. Fiber coupling and drive electronics options are also available with the disk lasers.
The compact design of the lasers enables easy integration into endoscopy, dermatology, and ophthalmology systems. The lasers are ideal for pumping of Ti:sapphire lasers, spectroscopy and illumination applications. They can also be utilized in the entertainment industry.
The 532 nm JenLas D2 thin disk laser features Peltier thermoelectric cooling and an OEM design. It offers a maximum CW output power of 5 W and is suitable for various applications such as replacement of argon lasers, medical engineering, light exposure of plastic materials, solid-state laser pumping as well as display engineering.
The JenLas D2.mini laser generates 2 W of CW output at 532 nm. It measures 105.7×62×24 mm and is utilized in scientific and medical engineering applications. The JenLas D2.8 laser, which measures 110×55×225 mm, generates a CW output of 8 W at 532 nm.
