PicoQuant announced that it will roll out three new products at the SPIE Photonics West Expo to be held in California from 22 to 27 January 2011. The three products include t-SPAD, a single photon counting module used for timing applications; a yellow picosecond pulsed laser; and FluoTime 300, a completely automated fluorescence lifetime spectrometer.
PicoQuant’s pulsed yellow laser has a wavelength of 596 nm and produces short pulses below 120 ps at variable pulse rates. The short pulse width assures ultra-high time resolution and accurate measurements.
The t-SPAD single photon counting module is ideal for fluorescence lifetime imaging and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy applications. The module attains a high photon detection efficacy of 75% at 670 nm. It is ideal for photon counting between a wavelength of 400 and 1000 nm.
The FluoTime 300 fluorescence lifetime spectrometer is based on Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) and resolves decay times to a few picoseconds. Various detector choices allow a wide array of spectral sensitivities and system configurations from UV to NIR range. The FluoTime 300 spectrometer also features EasyTau software that incorporates unique application targeted wizards. The software guides inexperienced users through the necessary steps required to perform steady-state and time resolved measurements.
