LASER COMPONENTS Introduces AR Coatings for Optical Fibers

LASER COMPONENTS has unveiled new AR coatings for optical fibers. The anti-reflection coatings minimize coupling losses, and thereby reduce waste associated with laser power while sending light over optical fibers.

In addition, the coatings are suitable for the applications in material processing and medical technology where the applications require high power sources.

The AR coatings are available as Broadband ARs, Dual ARs and Single ARs. The Broadband ARs have an AR coating for the 460-700 nm wavelength range, while the Dual ARs and Single ARs feature AR coating for 808 and 980 nm wavelengths; and 808 nm wavelength, respectively.

LASER COMPONENTS provide assembled cables such as job coatings on fibers, and coated fibers. The company processes all fiber types including sapphire fibers, and fused silica fibers, namely SM and MM.
