FOBA Unveils High-Performance Laser Marking Software

FOBA Laser Marking + Engraving has introduced a new laser marking software featuring accurate laser control and user-friendly interfaces. The MarkUS laser marking software is compatible with most of the company’s laser marking systems and controls a maximum of three axes.

The MarkUS features three programs with a number of configurable user levels, namely the MarkUS Administrator, MarkUS Runtime and MarkUS Designer. The MarkUS Runtime is efficient laser control software and an intuitive user interface for creating, stopping and starting the laser markings. In addition, the Runtime module offers total status information on marking and machine jobs.

The MarkUS Designer is a graphic design software interface used for setting, editing and creating laser marking jobs. The MarkUS Administrator interface can be used for configuring and setting up the system. The laser marking software comes in Italian, French, Spanish, German and English languages.

The MarkUS has add-on features including serial communication, Profibus or remote control through TCP/IP for enhanced productivity and automation. In addition, the software features a grayscale image support that enables the creation of grayscale markings easily.

The MarkUS supports a wide range of marking formats and contents such as real-time clock, time coding, layer, automatic date; serial and sequence numbering, advanced text editing, complex fillings, graphic import filters and machine-readable codes.
