Motion Solutions Australia Releases IA CMOS Analogue Laser Sensors

Motion Solutions Australia has rolled out new general purpose, in-line IA CMOS analogue laser sensors for measurement of various work pieces.

IA CMOS Analogue Laser Sensors

The sensors automatically optimize and control laser power as per the target’s reflectance, resulting in a stable measurement of various targets ranging from black rubber to shiny metal surfaces.

The IA CMOS sensors are suitable for detecting cap position in pharmaceuticals; presence or absence of chips in electronics; double sheets in steel industry; and presence or absence of cap seals in plastics and rubber industries. In addition, the analogue laser sensors are used to control gasket coating in transportation, package counting in the food industry, and measuring of paper tension in the paper industry.

The IA CMOS analogue laser sensor can be installed easily in any environment and uses an aspherical lens to obtain a small head housing. It weighs 50 g and measures 36×48.5×22.6 mm. In addition, the sensor supports multi-stage function that enables to reduce labor hours.s
