Lumex has introduced flexible LED backlights that can be used for both conventional and non-conventional applications such as indicator lighting, flat panel displays, indirect lighting or logo enhancement. The QuantumBrite Flexible LED backlights can be customized in any color, size, and shape, and consist of a thin polycarbon film.
Flexible LED Backlights
The LED backlights are thinner and more cost-effective than typical LED backlight technologies. Industrial control applications of the QuantumBrite backlights include drive control displays, AMR metering, climate control and other appliances, including refrigeration display backlighting and logo illumination.
In addition, the backlights can also be used in medical device applications such as indicator, display and logo enhancement features on ventilators, blood gases analyzers, infusion pumps, defibrillators, monitors and medical radiology equipment.
