Vision Engineering, manufacturer of stereo microscopes, has introduced two new Common Main Objective (CMO) microscopes.
The SX100 and the SX80 microscopes offer an interpupillary distance ranging from 55 to 75 mm and a 20° observation tube inclination.
The SX100 microscope offers a zoom ratio of 10:1 with a maximum magnification of 320x. It also provides a fine and coarse focus alteration option that enables users to alter the optical view. Adjustment of the optical view can be done until the image is fine-tuned for inspection, which is crucial for small samples.
The SX80 microscope offers a maximum magnification of 256x with a zoom ratio of 8:1. It is ideal for applications requiring additional working distances. The SX80 enables convenient dissection of samples because of the extra space present under the objective. It offers working distances of 130, 78, and 32.5 mm. The SX-80’s compact design enables accessories to be included in the configuration without any loss in clarity or contrast.
Both microscopes can be accessorized with polarization and digital image capture sets. Various types of stands allow the microscopes to be conveniently adapted to different kinds of work environments.
