LED lighting company, Cree announced that the 120 V LMR4 LED has received the California Title 24 compliance. The registration approval will aid OEM manufacturers to fulfill the energy efficiency standards of California and will accelerate their entry into the LED lighting industry with fixtures based on Cree EasyWhite solution or Cree TrueWhite Technology.
The 120 V Cree LMR4 LED module combines primary thermal management, optics and driver electronics. It is available with the Cree EasyWhite solution or Cree TrueWhite Technology. The two versions provide 700 lm of brightness, consume 12 W of power and last for 35,000 h.
Fixture makers can add a dedicated heat sink to support certain high-heat applications, including downlights for insulated ceilings. The 230 V LMR4 LED module is compliant with multiple international standards, while the 120 V LMR4 module is UL-approved.
The Director of Marketing for LED modules at Cree, Tom Roberts stated that lighting producers have already showed the convenience of producing LED fixtures, which are based on the Cree LMR4 LED module. He added that the company has extended the warranty period of the LMR4 module to provide more confidence in the business sector for the LED lighting products.
