Newport to Display the Latest Microscopy Systems at Neuroscience 2010

Provider of photonics and laser components, Newport announced that it will display the latest microscopy systems at the Neuroscience 2010 Expo to be held in San Diego, California, from November 14 to 17, 2010.

Microscopy Solutions

Newport will showcase the Excelsior laser series of continuous-wave (CW) lasers that are suitable for bioinstrumentation, and a one-box ultrafast laser module, the Mai Tai eHP DeepSee laser, which is ideal for microscopy applications. The Wavelength Extension Unit (WEU) will be exhibited at the Neuroscience 2010 Expo. The WEU combines with Newport’s ultrafast lasers to perform CARS microscopy and CARS spectroscopy. Manual controllers or micromanipulators, hydraulic, motorized, and high-performance filters will also be displayed.

Newport will display the SmartTable OTS optical table solution, which comes with various optical accessories such as a laser safety curtain and an overhead shelf system. The VISION IsoStation, used for microscopy and electrophysiology, will also be displayed at the Neuroscience 2010 Expo.
