Oriel has launched two new high-performance scientific cameras featuring the new InstaSpec Prosoftware that offers full system control of one or two camera configurations. The InstaSpec Prosoftware provides all functionalities of any spectrograph from Oriel. The software also has auto-calibration for the installed cameras and the spectrograph.
The output from the InstaSpec ISX IR and the InstaSpec ISX CCD cameras can be combined using the company’s stitch and glue functionality, to offer one graphic display output of the obtained spectrum. The cameras also feature complete data manipulation and management features. The camera’s data format allows convenient export to various packages for improved or additional post-processing tasks.
InstaSpec ISX IR Camera
The InstaSpec ISX IR camera is developed using an indium gallium arsenide linear array with a pitch valued at 50 micron. The camera functions in the spectral range of 800 to 1700 nm. The line scan detector is suitable for scanning applications of the infrared region such as Raman spectroscopy.
The InstaSpec ISX CCD camera, featuring a CCD sensor, is ideal for multi-stripe absorbance, reflectance, emission, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy applications. The camera has a 1024 x 122 pixel array, and it functions in the spectral range between 200 and 1100 nm.
The cameras are thermoelectrically-cooled, and they generate a powerful spectrograph, when they are bundled with the InstaSpec Pro software. The cameras also feature integrated digital signal processing and dual gain control settings.
