Cree and Arrow Electronics have collaborated with major producers specializing in complementary components to conduct a lighting design seminar and solutions fair at the Island Hotel in California from 1 to 2 December 2010. The two-day event is suitable for West Coast lighting designers, specifiers, engineers, and professionals seeking ways to speed up the transition to solid-state lighting.
The CEO and Chairman of Cree, Chuck Swoboda will inaugurate the fair with a keynote address on accelerating the conversion from conventional lighting to LED lighting and the current scenario in the solid-state lighting market. Cree, Arrow and other associated manufacturers will provide technical training and seminars on a number of topics including transforming municipalities to LEDs, optics and thermal considerations, and the latest LED drivers and controls.
