Seifert Industrial has offered its new T330 Rotating Laser for one-person operation and quick measurements. The T330 rotating laser can project a flat plane of light throughout a measurement area.
The T330 laser requires no operator for its operation, and is remotely controllable by the user. The R310 receiver of the T330 rotating laser is adjusted to every measurement position, followed by the recording or displaying of dimensions, for corrective measures to be made.
The rotating laser can accurately autolevel for machinery requiring LEVEL installation. The system offers tolerances of 0.0002 in/ft. These machinery applications include converting operations, machine tool installations, slewing rings, overhead cranes, conveyors, and pump bases. The receiver and laser are operated using a battery. The R525 receiver delivers a 0.0000787-inch accuracy in the X and Y axis that can be calculated simultaneously, to achieve straightness.
Notebook computers and software are available to generate a 3D map of the determined measurement points. A user can project tolerances on the 3D map, or find the best-fit solution.
