SavWatt to Ship Eco-Pole LED Street Lights in 2011

Developer of LED lighting fixtures, SavWatt USA has introduced the new 60 W LED Street Light and Parking Lot Light. The lights are powered using solar panels and wind turbines.

The new Eco-Pole street light allows placing a parking lot light/street light pole at any place, without the requirement for conventional electrical power. The Eco-Pole LED 60 W Street Light swaps a conventional 250 W Metal Halide light, and saves energy costs, while decreasing environmental pollution.

SavWatt’s Vice-President of Product Development, Sam Abecassis stated that the company has been developing the Eco-Pole for many months. The Eco-Pole devices are self-energized and would offer GREEN lighting. He added that the company is in the course of registering the units with the Energy Star, FCC, ETL, UL, and US Departments of Energy and Transportation, for shipping the products in 2011. Demand for the devices is huge, as the energy-efficient LED lighting is being deployed in many places every day.
