Valdor Technology, a company specialized in fiber-optic connectivity, announced that its aerospace client has qualified its Omega Enclosure Package, for use in high temperature environments.

The Omega Enclosure Package is used for aerospace cable repair. The Valdor Omega Repair Kit comprises the IMT SP Connector Kit, the Omega Enclosure Package, and other tools. The Valdor Omega Repair Kit provides quick mechanical installation for the space-restricted locations. The kit is suitable for applications in harsh environments.

The testing of the Valdor enclosure for shock resistance and vibration is underway. The field installable Omega Enclosure Package features flexible water proof enclosure, the Valdor miniature SP connector, and a tension resistant member.
