Secure Fence System Delivers High-Quality Performance in Texas Airport

Future Fibre Technologies, a provider of fiber-optic intrusion detection solutions, announced that the Secure Fence system deployed at the McAllen-Miller International Airport’s perimeter fence has delivered high-quality performance, since the installation.

The airport, located in Texas, plans to install the Central Alarm Monitoring System because of the success attained by the Secure Fence system.

Future Fibre stated that the Secure Fence system was deployed in the airport to meet the security concerns because of the close proximity to Mexico, and the number of commercial flights that arrive there.

The security coordinator of the McAllen-Miller airport, Donald Taft commented that the Secure Fence system offered an outstanding improvement to the physical security at the airport. The solution is cost-efficient, and is ideal for protecting the airport perimeter because of the potentiality to identify the place of intrusions anywhere inside the boundary of the airport.
