Erchonia’s Zerona Laser Receives FDA Market Clearance

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted market clearance to Erchonia’s Zerona, a non-invasive body contouring laser device.

Zerona

The Zerona becomes the first non-invasive laser device to get the FDA market clearance in the United States. The  device has been proven to be both safe and effective for reducing thighs, hips and waist.

A randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial was conducted to evaluate 67 study participants. The study results showed that an average loss of 3.65” was observed across patients’ thighs, hips and waist over a two-week period.

The Zerona laser produces a cold energy, which does not create any thermal effect on the tissue. The laser targets fat cells and causes them to disintegrate, thereby reducing the body volume considerably. The fat is removed from the patient’s body via a natural fat removal process. The Zenora laser treatment eliminates downtime and does not cause any side effects.
