California-based firm, Miyachi Unitek, has introduced a new, advanced LMF3500-HP laser marker for marking hard coated metals and deep metal engraving applications. The LMF3500-HP can also be used for large-area marking applications. The laser maker is the latest addition in Miyachi’s LMF Ytterbium fiber laser marker series.
The LMF3500-HP is compact and has a flat top design and provides a 35 W of power with 1.3 mJ pulse energy and 21 kW peak power. The fiber laser marker is suitable for deep engraving and can mark more than 0.02” deep on tool steels, graphite, brass, copper, aluminum and steels. The LMF3500-HP can be used to replace 50-100 W Yttrium aluminum garnet systems.
The LMF3500-HP laser marker extends the present LMF2000 and LMF1000 systems that deliver deep contrast marks on plastics and metals. The LMF series provides high peak power and beam quality that increase depth and speed, and offers XYZ motion, rotary, stand alone, touchscreen and PC options.
