MRC systems has unveiled a new, advanced laser beam position stabilization system that allows accurate laser beam stabilization on a defined direction and position.
The compact, closed-loop system is customized to deliver high positioning stability. It is useful for coupling short laser pulses into amplifier devices and fibers and can also be used for compensation of fluctuations in view of vibrations occurring in laser applications.
The stabilization system’s controller electronics is developed on one board in a Eurocard format. The system functions with a 12 V power supply because it features has an intelligent amplification feature. This feature enables straightforward combination and versatile laser arrangements in present device setups.
The laser beam stabilization system features 4-quadrant-diodes and steering mirrors that are powered by Piezoelectricity. The 4-quadrant-diodes feature read-out electronics. This set up ensures that both the position and the intensity level are seen on the detector. The stabilization system can also be configured for connecting other components.
The system also provides a number of additional functions such as a safety switch-off, a switch-on activity delay, direction coding and versatile signal amplification. These functions ensure a safe and easy-to-use operation. The position data can be viewed using an oscilloscope and can be preserved for further processing or documentation.
