Precision optics manufacturer, Bern Optics, has released new coated optical apertures that measure 0.20 mm in diameter. The precise optical elements are specifically designed for those applications that require a precision aperture. For instance, the coated optical apertures can be used in medical instruments and precision analytical applications.
The optical aperture is available in circular or customized shape models and held to micron level tolerances. The microscopic elements are manufactured from filter and optical glasses and can also be manufactured using apertures that are placed within the microns.
The customized anti-reflection coatings can be used on all types of transmitting surfaces. In addition, Bern Optics also offers apertures that are joined to other optical devices in a sub-assembly.
Precision optics, established in 1989, can change raw glass into precise optical components.
