Producer of tattoo removal lasers, Astanza Laser has released the new combination of the Ruby and Nd:YAG laser, the Astanza Trinity laser, in the US. This tattoo removal technology enables the clinics to remove any color, including green and blue ink, using one cosmetic laser system.
The Nd:YAG lasers are effective in removing yellow, orange, red, brown, purple, and black color tattoos, while the Q-switched ruby lasers can remove green and blue ink effectively. The FDA approved Astanza Trinity laser provides TruePower in three diverse wavelengths compared to four, two, or three weak wavelengths.
The new laser creates intense q-switched pulses in two optical cavities, namely the Ruby cavity and the Nd:YAG cavity. The Ruby cavity generates 1000mJ q-switched pulses in 694.3 nm wavelength. Whereas the Nd:YAG cavity emits 1000mJ pulses for 1064 nm, and a maximum of 500mJ for 532 nm. The company’s practitioners state that these high laser energy levels enable removing even difficult tattoos effectively.
